The Bar Council frequently receives enquiries from barristers and clerks in relation to Conditional Fee Agreements (CFAs) and Damages Based Agreements (DBAs). The Bar Council’s Remuneration Committee has a Civil (Private) Panel, chaired by Nicholas Bacon QC. The members give their time and expertise to the Bar Council without charge to help us to answer these enquiries. This document is the fruit of their expertise.
