GDPR Conference – Webinar

This event held on 27 April 2018 was generously co-funded by the European Union’s REC Programme as part of the Training of Lawyers on the European Union’s Data Protection Reform (TRADATA) project.

This full day conference was constructed to assist barristers, as well as chambers staff with their preparations for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which all barristers and chambers must comply with from 25 May 2018. Session titles are as below:

  • The GDPR & the Data Protection Bill: Overview
  • Data Protection- risk based approach
  • Lawful processing & practical compliance issues
  • Cybersecurity in the real world
  • DPOs and DPIA

  • Data Mapping & Retention, Data Transfer

Pricing

Price for chambers: £400 plus VAT. Once purchased, the video link can be shared with all chambers’ members. The recommended price per individual is £35 plus VAT (per barrister).

Chambers with fewer than 15 members can get in touch to discuss if a discount on the set prices applies.
