Student placements form a part of the Bar’s engagement with under 18’s who are considering, or are interested in, a career at the Bar. They perform an important role, not just in enabling those with a possible or actual interest in a career at the Bar to experience practice at first hand, but also as part of the Bar’s efforts to increase equality and diversity within the profession, and to improve the accessibility of a career at the Bar to those from less advantaged groups within society.
